Chris Nelson		It would be real nice to have a show that features talented individuals who perform their own art rather than what a board of has-beens thinks they should sound like. American Idol, in my opinion, is just an updated version of "the Gong Show" and that show at least had a sense of humour. Art is not something that can be formulated and voted on--it's about passion and feeling. These show take all that away and concentrate on the almighty dollar and mass appeal. It is interesting to note, however, the last American Idol tour was cancelled due to low ticket sales. Maybe these "experts" don't know what the world wants after all!
